What an AI Automation Agency Actually Costs
Every page ranking for this quotes a range and then asks you to book a call. Here is a number instead, and an honest account of what it does and does not cover.
Why nobody in this market will tell you a price
Search this and you will get a dozen pages quoting ranges — $5,000 to $50,000 a project, $2,000 to $20,000 a month — and every one of them ends with “contact us for a quote.” The range is not information. It is the reason for the call.
That is not an accusation of bad faith; it is how the business model works. If a price is set on the call, it can be set against what you appear able to pay. Publishing one number removes that flexibility, which is exactly why almost nobody does.
We publish one. $2,500/month. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. Our customers see the equivalent of at least $100,000 in payroll savings within six months. We guarantee it — or we refund every dollar, no questions asked.
What that covers, and what it does not
It covers the audit, the build, the ongoing monitoring, and the maintenance when something upstream changes. The model and infrastructure costs sit with us, not with you, which is the part that matters most for budgeting — a usage-based bill is the thing a company of forty people genuinely cannot absorb.
It does not cover your own review time. Somebody on your side still reads the output, especially early on, and pretending that is zero would make the whole comparison dishonest. See the hidden costs for an honest account of that.
How to read a quote you have been given
| If the quote is | What it usually means |
|---|---|
| A wide project range | Scope has not been defined yet. The change orders are where the margin is. |
| Hourly | Your cost tracks their speed rather than your outcome. Nobody is incentivised to finish. |
| Per agent, per month | Reasonable — but ask, in writing, what counts as one agent. That definition can shrink. |
| Usage-based | Your bill rises exactly as the thing succeeds. Model the worst month, not the average one. |
| Cheap with a long term | The term is the product. Ask what happens in month three if it is not working. |
The question that sorts most of this out
What happens if it does not work? Most answers to that are a paragraph about partnership. A real answer is a number and a date. Ours is above.
Where these numbers come from. The only prices stated on this page are our own, quoted from our pricing page. We have deliberately not published a market average for agency fees: we went looking for one and found that every figure in circulation is a third-party blog estimating what agencies charge, not an agency publishing what it charges. An average built on that is a guess with a decimal point.
